Hallo!

and so here i am.
back for another round of blogging.

Finally, i got to watch my AvP! (Alien vs Predator 2)

and i feel so proud that i was the one who
actually called together the whole movie date thing!
Ha!
i know what you're thinking "Chey movie outing only mah..."

but if you know me well enough, you would know that i'm not the sort
who likes to put things together, calling msging people.
but i did it!

But of course with the help of Bryan, who very nicely volunteered to buy the tickets in advance.

Everyone turned up in the end.
Although most had training and school, and what nots.

Lets see who came.

I, Sk, Charmaine, Ali, Gabby, Alph, Bryan, Janis, Joshua and Grace yow, who snuck in!

She's damn bloody cheapo.
hahaha.
but no la.
She watched it already and didnt really feel obliged to pay for a movie that she claims
is boring, plus she just wanted to kill time.

but when she suggested that we sneak her in, all of us just gave
awkward smiles and weak laughter,
trying not to catch her eye,
just incase she thought she had found an accomplice for her adventure.

Well, in the end, sk loyally volunteered to sneak her in, and i must say,
it was done rather well!

Wells, anyway.
We missed the first 5 mins of the movie?
somehow it always seems the case for me.
i distinctly remember missing the starting bit of AvP 1 too.

whatever.

For me, (i must emphasize on the fact that this is solely my opinion)
i found the movie not too bad.
i mean, due to the high expectations that AvP 1 gave me,
i had expected to see more fighting scenes
between Aliens and the Predator.

Notice i said "The Predator",
because throughout the entire movie,
it was just one miserable predator trying to eradicate the
entire colony of aliens that had mass multiplied and
taken over a small town.

It was kinda sad but heroic.

i mean in a "Versus" type of show, there has to be a favourite guy.

For AvP, it was so obvious that the Predator was the good guy, and the
aliens are the nasty, slimey, acid drooling creatures.

Predator was kinda given a very humanistic protrayal.
Like when he spotted his fellow Predator ally that i think sort of either crash landed
and died, or got attacked by aliens in his space pod.
either way, it was dead.

Predator sort of grieved for him.
Like gave this scary moan and all.

and so the audience is like thinking, "Awwwww, if Predator can mourn his friend's
death, means he cant be that bad after all.

Well anyway, the point is, Predator is my hero, and he's damn cool.

But compared to the first initial success of the first movie, this sequel
was slightly lacking.

i sort of expected a full fledge war between a colony of Aliens and an army of Predators.

but it was just this little Predator and his one man show against those monstrous aliens who seemed to be like
everywhere in this bloody town.
like in the school, hospital, diner, homes, electricity plants, sewers,
every damn nook and cranny.

And not forgetting this useless group of humans who were
running all about
frantically trying their very best to survive.

Well i know i'm a movie spoiler, but i'm sure you can still
enjoy the movie to its fullest as there are moments in the movie
that words can never fully explain.
so dont let my little sypnosis deter you from the movie
if you already had plan to go watch it.

anyways.
the ending was sort of unsatisfactory.

like this army colonel guy, who totally betrayed the surving townsfolk by
dropping nuclear bombs to obliterate
the entire town, and its alien colonists.

i know it was a very bastard thing for the colonel to do.
but i totally supported his decision.

i mean, like, haven you heard of "sacrifice for the greater good."

come on, lets say if you suddenly heard that
a town in middle east was completely blown off the map
because it was infested with
human eating alien life form that is reported to
breed at the rate of like 20 aliens per half an hour.

like come on.
would you go like "Omg, that asshole military, they are heartless bastards."
or would you instead say,

"Good God, i hope they did a thorough job, and completely wiped out those aliens,
otherwise we're totally done for."

I believe you would choose the latter.

Right?

i am so right.

anyways,
i'm done.
this post has been too long.
and besides.
my brother and his friends
are just lounging on the bed, and occasionally
sliding past the door just to see if i'm done using the com.
no one's prodding me to hurry up, but dont they know actions speak louder than words.
i get it.

okayy.
so i'm done here.
and off to go and _________ my _________ which i took from my ________ box.

haha.
fill in the blanks if you can.

toodles.
